Jorgensen Conveyors was founded in 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Initially the company designed and manufactured conveyor systems for a variety of applications. Today, Jorgensen has grown
to be the leading product solutions provider for the machine tool chip removal
and coolant filtration systems.

We are an active member of the Business Health Care Group of Southeast Wisconsin
(BHCGSW), which is our business community's voice and collective active group
for influencing the direction of health care costs and quality in our
region. This coalition's objective is to manage escalating health care
costs and to provide our employees with access to more efficient and effective
healthcare services. We are committed to providing our employees with the
resources and tools they need to become better informed health care decision
makers. Our flexible benefits program allows our employees to customize
their benefits to meet personal and family needs. It is also designed to
provide the maximum tax advantage available under federal regulations.
Medical Coverage
Jorgensen Conveyors offers multiple health plan choices to fit its employees
through Humana.
Dental Coverage
Jorgensen Conveyors provides valuable coverage against the high cost of dental care. Covered individuals have $1,500 available each calendar year for covered dental service. There is an individual deductible of
$50 and $150 per family. Preventive services are paid 100%, basic services in
network are paid at 90% (versus 80% out of network), and major services are paid at
60% (versus 50% out of network).
Vision Coverage
Jorgensen Conveyors employees are eligible for a voluntary vision plan which provides for vision care on a regular basis for themselves and their families.
Life Insurance
Life insurance benefits provide financial security for the families of Jorgensen Conveyors employees. The benefit for Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, premium paid by the company, is the annual pay of the employee up to a maximum of $50,000. In addition to basic life, employees have the option to purchase up to an additional $80,000 of supplemental insurance at low group rates.
Dependent Life Insurance
Dependent Life Insurance provides this voluntary life insurance benefit to help with the financial burden of the loss of a spouse or dependent child.
Short Term Disability
Short Term Disability Insurance provides employees with a source of income should they become disabled and unable to work for an extended period of time. Payments begin on the first day of disability resulting from an accident or on the eighth day if the disability is the result of illness. The company pays the premium and the benefits are payable for up to thirteen weeks.
Long Term Disability
Long Term Disability Insurance provides employees with a guaranteed level of income based on current rate of pay. A disabled employee receives 60% of their monthly pay to a maximum of $5,000 per month.
The company pays the premium and long term disability payments begin following termination of short term disability benefits.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending accounts allow employees to save a significant amount of money that is not subject to Social Security, Federal, State or Local income taxes. Taking proper advantage of these accounts will actually increase an employee's spendable income.
Health Reimbursement Account
Employees may set aside up to $2,000 in pre-tax money throughout the year to pay for health care expenses not covered by insurance.
Dependent Care Reimbursement Account
Employees may set aside up to $5,000 in this account, to pay for dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.
401(k) Plan
Jorgensen Conveyors 401(k) Plan allows employees to deduct up to 25% of their compensation on a pre-tax basis to help save for retirement. Employees are eligible to participate if they have reached 18 years of age and have completed 3 months of service within the plan year. The company
may make a matching contribution up to 100% of the employee's first 3% contributed. Employees have a choice of 7 different investment options.
Gainshare
Plan
In order to allow employees to share in company gains, this incentive
compensation plan rewards full-time and part-time employees who have completed
their probationary periods. Monthly payouts are made if the profitability
goal for the month is met.
Vacation
Employees earn vacation based on length of service and job classification. Office employees with less than 1 year of service are eligible for 8 hours of vacation for every two months of service, 80 hours after 1 year of service,
120 hours after 10 years of service and 160 hours after 20 years of
service. Plant employees with less than 1 year of service are eligible for 8 hours of vacation after 13 weeks, 40 hours after 1 year, 80 hours after 3 years,
120 hours after 10 years, and 160 hours after 20 years of service.
Paid Holidays
Jorgensen Conveyors observes nine paid holidays throughout the year:

Employee Assistance Program
Professional counseling is available to employees and their eligible dependents at no cost. This service includes short-term counseling, as well as referral services when needed.
