Heavy-Duty Sorting Conveyor
This large sorting conveyor features heavy-duty, abrasion resistant materials. They often serve as large material conveyors in high production environments. LoadTamers easily handle a variety of large material and high volumes of material. Perfect for tough recycling applications, LoadTamers are highly effective large material conveyors. Jorgensen engineers custom design each heavy-duty conveyor allowing them to last longer in difficult environments.
Product Information
- Designed for machining high alloy or hardened steels, cast iron, tool steel with .045 carbon content or greater, hard “6 and 9 shaped” chips, or hard fine / granular chips which are highly abrasive
- Heavy duty metal chain guard for robust protection
- Abrasion resistant steel used for conveyor belt tracking and belt skirting in the lower curve of the conveyor
- Heavier gage incline cover plates with more robust fasteners to secure the cover plate
- Induction hardened belt connecting pins (axles)
- Belt apron plate hinge loop opening welded for more strength
- Special “inverted V” carrying cleats on belt so tough chips don’t hang onto the cleats at discharge of the conveyor
- Two durable copper wire cleats to keep the inside of the conveyor clean
- Two serrated edge cleats to effectively remove tough long stringy chips
- Hardened hubs where the belt turns around in the tail end of the conveyor – normally a high wear area
