Records Retention Policy Update

March 2, 2026 12:44 pm

Effective January 1, 2026, Jorgensen will be updating its records retention policy. Going forward, paper records will be retained for the most recent 30 years. Many records created since 2000 are already maintained in digital format and will not be impacted by this change.

As a result, certain records more than 30 years old—including conveyor drawings, application details, and order documentation—may no longer be available.

Continued Support for Legacy Conveyor Systems

Jorgensen remains fully committed to supporting our customers’ installed equipment. We continue to provide service, repairs, and replacement parts for older conveyor models. For conveyor systems more than 30 years old, replacement or rebuild projects may require the creation of new engineering drawings to align with current engineering standards and any updates to the system’s application or operating requirements.

We recognize that many Jorgensen conveyors operate reliably for decades in the field. Updated systems and replacement components will remain available through our engineering and manufacturing teams using an updated design process.

If you have questions, require service, or need replacement parts for an existing conveyor, please visit our service page or contact Jorgensen. Our team is ready to assist.
